Two or three more dry day would have been ideal, but it's only getting worse in the two week forecast. The spot where I grew my two biggest last year wasn't tilled until April 24th, so hopefully im a little ahead of the game this time. Tuesday, April 28 View Page Survived the wind storm so far Monday, May 18 View Page Cuke beetles hatched out yesterday Monday, June 1 View Page Last two mornings were in the 30s. Plants can take a little cold, but combined with the wind, it really does seem to hurt them. Picture doesn't really show it, but the leaves are lighter green than they were a week ago. Hoping they can turn it around for pollination time in a couple weeks. Four more days until it warms up. This is my last 2365.
