Parked on the entry level of the Ailts/Landry Benchmarks.. Not a squmpkin, yellow to white round ball. Now with Seven sides vines terminated... Mulched crown with straw and spread poly coated white clover seed then reinoculated the entire patch with Azos and Myco & Bacillus.

Growth pace picking up - 945 Bailey Girl fruit now on D13 gaining 4.5/day.
Main Vine is out well past 35' before July 1st is simply amazing on a non heated plant..
Strong display of apical dominance and some Hybrid vigor that green mixed with orange can do in the first generation.
Brown Sugar - 2036 Bryson x 945* just approaching Day 10 has only one side vine terminated so far.

Reinoculated & watered in all crowns with Myco, Azos & Bacillus.
Hot as heck > upper 90's all week. Straw controlling crown root zone temp. Fear heat rot in the soil, guarded against over watering.

Donkey's Delight" 695* sib - Landry x 1891 Bryson 25. July 1 pollination was under the cooler in the heat dome of the lower Great Lakes...
The fruit is expanding. Soil clay stratification helping to retain lower sub surface moisture. Noticed upward rehydration of the surface soil in a few areas at 6am each morning.

Heavy rain 3"+ past few days. Soil disease issues may crop up... Proactively reinoculation the entire plant.
Bailey Girl-945* Landry 23 x 2036 Bryson 25. DAP 20 = 162 pounds. 81+56+53=190 Ott
945* not a squash yet... Plant has fully shifted to single sink output and is only 30% terminated. New Vine growth has slowed to a crawl.. BG > End to end is light on length may be a giant wheel.

Home patch has only 1 Field Pumpkin 140 Est - Landry 25 FP. This was a volunteer plant sprung from the rats compost pile.
Very early FP at 4' on the Main Vine and treated with Florel on Day 1 at 24 Hours old. Long barrel shape.
Keys for FP's have always been finding the anti-senesce elixir that is very elusive. Delayed maturation is needed.
Rodents Rave FP x Self > Day 12 = 40" + 29 + 24 = 93 Ott. The CC is slower with Florel growth than last years fruit. 140 Fred "A" last year was 40" on D10.
Amazing that FP's in my care continue to outpace AGP up to about Day 15 then they shut down quickly...

Threading the needle. Joe thanks for chart. Grateful folks still remain dedicated to the growth of the Commonwealth. YouTube video of your data talks are amazingly accurate, data filled and rest firmly at the very edge of the science.
Wormhole Agronomy
Bailey Girl slowed a bit by extra moisture. Running between the blue and green curves. Stratified clay at lower levels and heavy thunder storms. Re-inoculated the patch with Bacillus Subtillus. Last Drench of the year with Phosphite. Added Molasses, Gylcine, Manganese, Boron & CalMag.

Philosophy of Field Pumpkins and changes this year : More moron diverse biology and smaller plants. RR is growing on a very small hill super charged with pre inoculated Bio char. The compensation point of the plants says large plants with ultra large root zones are not needed. Running two main vines on one plant. Feeding only the crowns on raised hills.
Rodents Rave DAP13 = 43cc + 4"..
