It’s hot there. Tomato growers can grow 2000+ pound pumpkins now?.. in Indiana?..ok.. that’s amazing…what the hell is going on in this sport!?. Is Charlie’s youngest daughter really 14” tall or what?!! …. Huge thanks to all the growers who participated in the 2023 Zeke DeMars Team Tomato Challenge.!!! Although I wasn’t much fun last year, it was great to hear of all the success growers were having. Warblie with a bomb, saberonxy putting up Two PB’s. Many many others. And once again, My thanks to Dan Greene who single-handedly held down the stats for the year. You da man dan.. Coming in second place in the Draft, at 25.72 pounds…..The North ATLantic Trio!- Curtis Leach, Noah de Visser, and Craig Bierle! First place in the Draft Division , weighing in at 27.85 pounds, The MeGaToms!!! John and Kerry young, Don German, and Wayne Morgan! Second place in The Open Division, clocking in at 28.77 pounds… The Whiskey Warriors!!!! Out of Ohio, Bryan Reeb, Paul Huffer, and Darryl Crosby! Our First place Winners in the Open division with an incredible 43.47 pounds!!!—- give it up for F L M !!!!!!… Jack Larue, Del and Julie Faust and Glen and Margaret Martin.!!!! Amazing you guys!!…….. We also had a big state record fall out of Pennsylvania last season…a new grower to the tomatoes, absolutely crushing the year and winning our State Record award by beating the previous record by the most amount …ladies and gentlemen, you know him as Bravo… I now know him as someone whose parents were afraid of him getting lost as a child….give it up for….   Sunday, February 25 View Page Johnathon Johnson from Johnsonburg PA!!!! Congratulations On a terrific season! ..I couldn’t be more proud to see 10.46 on a trophy we started when we thought 10 pounds was fake news…just awesome…way to freekin grow Jack!. The trophy will travel BACK to the west coast where it will sit on Jack’s mantle for the season.
