Green house up. Heater in the foreground and fan in background connected to heat/cooling controller. With the variances, ideally it doesn't get much over 30C, or under 13C. Trial run for 2 days monitoring temps then the transplant. Soil heaters on.

Removed the warming tent today. She is about 12' long. A female pumpkin flower out around 10'. I've never successfully pollinated the first female, perhaps this is the year ?? Considering how our nights have been cool. Between 6 to 9° this plant is thriving. Really hoping it will explode with all this warm weather.

Pollinated the first one today. Beautiful four lobes. About 10 ft out. Fortunately the rain held off. How to make a makeshift cover. The weather is cool and wet this weekend with loads of seven and highs of 11. The earliest pollination for me very optimistic

About three square feet left in the patch to fill. This thing's loving the sunshine and heat. Have yet to successfully pollinate. Whoever there's one about 18 ft out just on the grass in a perfect position to grow it right beside the sidewalk ??????

16 DAP. 112 OTT. About 40 lbs. Nicest pad l have created. Pallet + 1" foam + kids play mats + 1\2" sand. Outside the growing box. I will chop the main Vine past the fruit Aug 1st. Slowly shift it so it lands beautifully on the pad.

Estimated weight of 105.8lbs. About 66lbs in 4 days. 16.5lbs a day. Purchased 2 garbage pails of compost today to help bury vines and establish more roots. I am incredibly grateful for everyone supporting my pumpkin "hobby". The next 10 days are the funest of the year. .....

21 days after pollination which the aborting period is over! This pumpkin should be safe now. cut the main Vine past the fruit. It was about 12' long. Spraying the under side of the Leafs with water not only helps git rid of aphids, it soaks the nutirents down into the root system. So far I have only used 20-20-20 about 3 times. The plant is basically fewding off balanced soil with heaps of mushroom manure, and compost. Will start to drip line fertilizer in about 3 to 5 days.

202.5 lbs! Breaking 200lbs and my PS (personal smallest) record from last year of 154lbs! And now at a point where I can not adjust it. Averaging 19.3 lbs per day past 5 days. 25 days after pollination (DAP) The beer can is for reference. The foliage is thriving and healthy. Leaves are over 2.5 feet tall, for more reference. Note the established root that l have to continuely pull up slowly to relieve the stress on the main Vine attached to the pumpkin.
