A row of cantaloupes, they are also known as muskmelons. A muskmelon is an eastern version of a western cantaloupe. (the type what you would find in the supermarket) Often a muskmelon would have ribbing and a very strong perfume or musk scent. When I was younger we would sell "Muskmelons" on my aunt and uncle's vegetable stand and that’s what we called them. I don’t know if people today still use that term. I think it’s a word that’s about to become extinct.
The varieties that I am growing this year include 'Goddess', 'Cleopatra', 'Sarah’s choice' 'Crenshaw' And a weird one Called 'Kajari'
