BlueLab Guardian Monitor
This is a professional water monitor that in all honesty is probably more expensive than it needs to be. However, it is reliable and does provide the necessary information on one readout so it makes the decision process to add more nutrients or adjust the pH quick and accurate. This is best utilized for an indoor hydroponic set-up where continual monitoring is important. (There are even models that can connect to automatic dosing devices.)
The readouts it provides are Conductivity, Temperature and pH, allowing the grower to select their chosen units for Conductivity and Temperature. There is a pH calibration procedure, but when it was checked with known pH standards it was spot on accurate so it is a great unit despite the price.
However, this is the selected monitor due to the reliability and accurate readings and it falls under the “buy once, cry once” category.
