It has been fun and our decision was to get back to our roots and plant a few squash. Andy and I both have won a few squash awards back in the day but it’s been a while since either of us have grown one. We can come up with a Team name for the Squash division, if we mangage to make it to a weigh off. This will be fun with last names Sandercock , Box and Corcoran you can imagine some names that we are kicking around. We have some old school seeds planted. This long stemmed gal is on the 834 Sandercock. I was surprised the old seed germinated. It’s the 1177 Haist x 895 Hester. The seed is from 2012 where I won in Altoona at the PGPGA weigh off. The seeds have been in the freezer and of all my starts this year it was the first to germinate.
