After about 40 days off the vine and on display in my yard…. Today was seed harvest day. The 1479 and 1206 held up well. I got about double the amount of seeds from the 1479. In yet another first this year… My wife and I are learning how to dry and package these.
The pieces of pumpkin are being composted in the backyard. It’s a ton of compost…. Literally!
The neighbors really enjoyed the display. We must have met 60 neighbors we never knew we had. It really made everyone smile seeing these up close.
