We haven’t had any substantial rain here since August when we had the flood. It’s been crazy. I have never seen anything like this. This is my daughter’s horse field. Normally, this time of year the horses would have it cut short, but it would be green. This is ridiculous, hopefully we get rain soon. I transplanted some rhododendrons the other day and it was like digging in powder. I have lived in this area for most of my life and have never seen It this dry, for this long. Our typical weather here provides 4 to 5 inches every month of the year. The crazy thing about it, is that we had so much rain over the summer. We are just now beginning to fall below the yearly average for rainfall. Let me know how you are doing for rainfall in your region. I’m interested to hear.
