I've been spending extra time watering by hand under the leaf canopy again this year to promote extra root growth on the secondaries and not miss any spots. The golf umbrellas are up temporarily now to protect the young babies from water and sun exposure because the plant is getting too large to water by hand, and we are going to switch to our overhead system soon for absolute full soil coverage.
