Ok well we seem to have good news and bad news...
Bad news... I think there is something genetically wrong with my 2531 Stelts plant. I've now done 8 pollination, all with varying levels of protection/control and all have aborted.
Good news, my first and ONLY pollination of the 1925 Noel took and it looks like I'll have something at least to compete with. Since my PB is only 752, I think the Noel definitely has a shot, even if it's only a 150sq ft plant.
Sad about the Stelts. It is such a a beautiful plant. I'm going to keep pollinating them as they come up and see what happens. I definitely don't think it's user-error though.
