While its not going to be the earliest harvest, looking at the veggie garden this evening its a bit hard to believe that only a month ago we were in Nor'easter at only 48 degrees.
The veggie garden is in summer mode. The FL Weave has gone up. The trenches are mulched-the straw is actually from our 2024 fall harvest display. We added an extra row this year and are doing 24 tomatoes! We actually direct seeded some Super Sweet 100s today. Those should give us a fresh plant for the fall and they mature all the way to Halloween.
