The centre walking board has been moved and the 2404 Barron secondaries have accepted the invitation to continue growing in the vacant area where the second prizewinner was going to be planted. That part of the patch has been sitting un-watered and we've had no rain, yet the purslane weeds continued to grow. I've started weeding, pitchforking and broadforking the rest of the area and will toss in some of the granular Shuttle 14 products in advance of the oncoming pumpkin vines. Those 5 secondaries have about another 20 feet of length they can grow until the area is full.
