Gain rate: 24lbs/day
As you can imagine, this drop in gains had me very scared. I went from 42 to 24lbs/day when the gain rate should have been increasing! Obviously I called Matt and we did and extremely thorough inspection. Well, to make along story short, this plant was getting about 25% of the water it should have due to a combo of bone dry weather, holes in my drip lines, and a math error I made earlier on. We both Concluded that the plant is totally healthy but just way too dry. I will be upping the water to 200gals/day and will be including some overhead watering to make sure the soil is more evenly watered. This was a total rookie mistake and luckily I caught it while there was still time to recover.
