I did a more thorough scraping and have been using peroxide and a fan 24/7 and it seems to be dry. All of this because I didn't remove the tendril, it dried out and became hollow, and then got a little water trapped inside causing a rot spot. This hobby is so unforgiving. It boggles my mind that people can consistently get pumpkins to weigh offs.
