'Tis the season for powdery mildew. I recently made fun of a grower friend, let's just call him "The Train Wreck" because he simply has too much going on in his life (several young kids & unreliable child care, too many World Cup games to attend in person, challenges with building a new greenhouse, etc). He most recently fell victim to powdery white mildew "sneaking up on him." And it snuck up in a big way too! While I was busy amusing myself with his dilemmas it started sneaking up on me! The liquid copper product in the pic has been my first line of defense in fighting PWM.
