How meny ppm of calcium , magnesium , potassium , and phosphorus is to much, and what is a good organic matter % for the giants.

Cant really have too much organic matter, I know that Jack Larue has 49% organic matter. As far as ppm, just keep the calcium to magnesium ratio at 7 to 1. For potasium and phosphorus I think that a few hundred ppm is sufficient. Without my soil info in front of me, I cant say the exact ratios on P:K. Numbers are not exact, but the basics are there, I'm sure someone out there has complete info. Tom Beachy

I'm all most at 4:1 .what should it be , 4:1 or 7:1 ?
