ITs my first year as i have mentioned previously and i have 3 pumpkins still on my vine, My biggest is 202 ott at day 27 but it has slowed tremendously and i think it may be cause of my other two which are about beachball size but gaining. Two pumpkins,the big and small one are close to eachother while the other is off a completely different vine but its a rough looking pumpkin, to make long story short, if i cut the smaller one close to my bigger one off, would i be messing up or is my big pumpkin just done growing??? would it help or hurt??? thanks for any replies

Beachball will not make much from here on out. I would cut half way through the stem, in two steps over four days. Then watch the larger one start up again. Maybe skip a day between removals.

If there is no trouble on the larger one and it has good shine that is what I would do.

If you have some on a secondary then just slowly snip away the secondary from the main. The secondary won't keep the pumpkin gaining weight but it will at least keep it alive out there so you don't have to store the pumpkin. Keep the biggest if you can. Good Luck!
