I see that many of you tell those of us that cull the smaller ones to cut it of over a few days and a little at a time , ..Could any of you tell me why this way and not all at once ? thanks .. Bill g.

Culling slowly, say over two or three days, might just prevent the overload to a minimum on the desired keeper fruit. We don't know how fast a plant reacts and shifts gears redirecting juices, but those in the know have shared this strategy, so it's good to follow suit...unless you're a gambler!!! Best of luck, Duff

Bill, earlier in the year I had 2 at basketball size on one vine...cut one off all at once...next day, the one I left on was laying in 2 pieces. All energy diverted into one fruit all at once was too much for it to handle. I now cull over a 3 or 4 day period. Cut a little each day. Peace Wayne
