Dale, it was a great day with over 50 people attending the tour and BBQ at Fir Point. Out of town guests included: Chad, Todd & Lori Swartz from Michigan; Russ & Jim Pugh from California; George Webster from California; Ken Mitchell and his neighbor Dave from California; Todd Kline from Quebec and many other Oregon & Washington growers. It was by far the best turnout we've had to date. Thank you to all who took time out of their busy schedules to come and visit.
Jim Sherwood (oh yea, we saw some pretty nice pumpkins too!)

It was a great day. Five world class patches in eight hours. Lots to see, lots to learn, and lots of real good people too. Maybe someday when I grow up I will be Pacific Northwest pumpkin grower...or at least California's cheap imitation of one! Thanks to everyone who shared their patches, their knowledge, and their day with us.

Ok, I'll say it....
Jim - very nice patch. Ya got some monsters growing in there.
Pumpkinguru - I'm still in awe.
I look at what I'm growing (quality & quantity) and just wonder how can I compete with all that firepower........
Oh well guess I'll just keep doing my best and we'll see you in October.
