THOSE OF YOU ATTENDING OUR SNGPG PICNIC AND PATCH TOUR WILL BE IN FOR A TREAT THIS SUNDAY
AT ONE OF THE STOPS ( NOT OURS ), THEY WILL BE TREATED TO A 842 EATON OFF SPRING THATS WELL OVER 1300 LBS
GUESTS WILL ALSO SEE A VARIATY OF 700 TO 1000 + LBERS AT THE OTHER STOPS + A PICNIC BUFFETT FIT FOR THE ROYAL FAMILY
IM VERY PROUD OF OUR RI GROUP WE HAVE ACCOMPLISHED A TON IN JUST ONE SEASON OF REORGANIZATION OUR PRIZE SCHEDULE ALONE HAS GONE FROM $1,700 TO OVER $6,500 PLUS WE HAVE ADDED A BOAT LOAD OF TROPHIES AND PLAQUES OUR SPONSOR BASE HAS MORE THAN DOUBLED OUR ,MEMBERSHIP HAS INCREASED BY 30% AND WE HAVE THE GROUP EFFORT TO THANK FOR THIS
THE STATE HAS COME A LONG WAY OVER THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS AND POKING FUN AT EACH OTHER IS ALL PART OF IT-SO HERE GOES
NO ONE IS BETTER THAN THE OTHER AND WE SUPPORT AND SHARE INFORMATION ( MOST OF THE TIME AS LONG AS YOU HAVE A SMALLER PUMPKIN )
IF A GROWER HAS A PROBLEM WE ARE ALL THERE TO HELP GET IT CORRECTED ( OR MOVE UP A KNOTCH ON THE COMPETITION LADDER IF WE CANT )
DURING THE OFF SEASON WE TEST AND PLAN FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR ( BY OURSELVES LOL )
COME "FAT FRIDAY" WE ALL GET TOGETHER AND LOAD EACH OTHERS FRUIT FOR A SATURDAY TRIP TO THE SCALES ( MAINLY CAUSE WE WANT TO KNOW IF WE GOT A WINNER OR NOT )- PLUS THERES BEER AND FOOD AT EACH STOP
IF A GROWER LOSES THEIR BEST PUMPKIN WE ARE ALL THERE FOR MORAL SUPPORT ( AND TO CHECK THEM OFF THE GROWERS TO BEAT LIST )
WE HAVE FOUND THAT WHEN REFERING TO OUR GROWTH RATE THAT HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY THATS WHY ITS COMMON TO HEAR "IM NOT SURE", "I HAVENT MEASURED YET THIS WEEK", "SHES SLOWED WAY DOWN"," JUST ABOUT DONE" ETC
ALL THE ABOVE IS WRITTEN FOR FUN I WOULD NOT TRADE MY PUMPKIN GROWING FRIENDS FOR A SACK OF $100.00 BILLS

"A picnic buffet fit for the royal family".......now you don't have a royal family over there so your kinda refering to the royal family on this side of the pond. Why should it be fit for them anyway, they are just a lot of free loaders who dont give a crap about the lower classes who pay for their lifestyles. Unless you mean the royal pumpkin family, a group of loonies who grow, against all odds, these huge orbs of variuos shapes, colours and sizes. Just sorry I can't be there this year Dick but ya gave me a 1068 seed and its already sailed passed my previous personal best and I gotta stay here and look after it. So guys enjoy ya day.

Pap, The Tour was Super, the Picnic was fit for royalty and all of the people made my wife and I feel like family, you have a very special group of growers in the SNGPG, but I would really like to say Steve Sperry and his wife Linda really made us feel like we were King and Queen for 4 day spent in Rhode Island. P.S. What a pumpkin shack - unbelievable Thanks Gene McMullen
