The goal of PumpkinSupply.com (besides funding my patch) is to help growers not have to hunt endlessly for products they are looking for. I've got plans for new products for next season that I'll be talking about more in a couple of months, but I'm curious what, if anything, you all would like to see PumpkinSupply.com carry that we don't right now. Thanks for your input!

Suggest 1500 lb. pumpkins. Might be cheaper, to just buy one. :)

Well after this year I would like to find the following for next year:
1)a pumpkin that weighs 1016.5 pounds grown from the 21 Beachy
2) a watermelon that weighs 149 pounds (parentage not important)
3) anty split. (a product that you put on your pumpkin to stop splits)
4) 2- 935 Lloyd seeds

Unless I did not look hard enough, I did not see chelated calcium.

Our Nutri-Cal product is better than chelated calcium, but thanks for taking the time to look!

Are there any light-weight long-handled pruners so I don't have to go onto the boards this late in the season (when the leaves are brittle) to prune off suckers? A knife taped to a long stick just doesn't do too well.

I agree with Don...more watering system devices i.e.water pumps, pvc pipe, sprinkler heads, etc...
maybe rain barrell's, fencing, cheaper (good)fungicides, set-up regional(or state by state) manure deliveries, mollassus, the all important "Bible" of pumpkins...how to grow world class pumpkins...I,II,III, and whatever other book is out there, excel spreadsheet disc(with pumpkin weights, and formula's built in...lol...for all us non-computer users), pumpkin soaking BIG-towels, pumpkin measuring books(calendar)......
I dunno...gimme more time and I could think of more to come up with....Tom

On the serious side, Mill Fabric is a great idea,.

Maybe something like Remay cloth...I was quoted something like $126 for a 12ft x 250ft roll locally. Is that expensive stuff, or what?

If you can find some cheap timers, I'll definitely buy one. Make sure it's both watering and misting timers.
Also some cheaper fungicides would be nice, undoubtedly the ones you are selling are top quality, buuuttt... they're rather expensive for most people (me anyway, but I'm sure others have the same idea).

On the idea of watering supplies, different types and qualities of sprinlers, from the whizzer types to the jet that's hit by the hammer, to the conventional back and forth one. Also irrigation systems; drip watering hoses, soaker hoses, and accessories, you wouldn't believe the prices they're asking for these products on some websites.

I think if you could find a cheap source of small heaters many growers would get one for their cold frame. Also, for those that aren't really so good at constructing devices such as cold frames, a plan for a cold frame (and supplies to go with it) would be nice. Also the supplies and plans needed to construct greenhouses for the pumpkins, again for non-builder types such as me (pipes, corner fittings, clear plastic, clips, etc, whatever else you need).

Oh, and if you can find a cheaper source of pumpkin lifting tarps, that would be a bonus.

Oh, right, just thought of another thing I have been searching long and hard for (have found it, but am looking for a better price, actually). If you could supply some automatic fertilization devices that can hook onto a drip watering system, I know I would buy one, and because of their convenience, probably a lot of other growers would too.

Shipping is the killer on most of these things you guys want. Shipping is often more expensive than the product.

Pumpkin measuring tape. Organic insecticide like SF Nematodes? organic fungicide or safer fungicide like baking soda, Kelp meal, fish/seaweed, soil tests, list of labs that do tissue/soil analysis for a good price. growth enzymes (cytokinins, giberellins, auxins), composte tea, composte tea makers. Just to name a few...
