I noticed today that my stump is rotting and I also found a few places in the vine that is rotting. I have decent sized fruit on about 40 days old. Will they make it or rot also? Cut the rot spots open and it was mushy and very wet. Are the pumpkins past the point of rotting? thanks, Jeff

Jeff I don't think you could ever get a pumpkin past that point. How far are they from the stump/ rotten area? I'd let them go except for that one with the soggy stem. Just focus on the one that can take out that McKenry boy's wimpy record if at all possible.
