I'm still new to pumpkin growing so this might be a stupid question. I live in Minnesota and i was wondering if i could join other growers organizations outside my state?

If you bring a pumpkin to the Ryan Norlin Weighoff in Anamosa on October 1, and pay the entry fee, you will become a member of the Midwest Pumpkin Growers Association. Not a real active organization, just a couple of newsletters per year, but they put on a real top notch weighoff and have some real good growers. They routinely draw entries from all across Iowa, as well and Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota and Colorado. There are lots of other activities during the Anamosa Pumpkinfest so you can make it a good weekend here.
