Mark in Western Pa

South Western Pa

Just wondering if anyone has heard where the 1500 lb monster is growing this year. It’s not in my patch, I’ll say that.

But we have had some really great weather here in the PA/OH area for the late season:)

Well this is not a Rumor, But if all things go really well between now and the First of October, I am going to give Tom Beachy's Pride and Joy a Run. My pumpkin only needs to gain another 14 pounds and I will then be 1 pound heavier than the Famous Beachy 21

im not predicting any world records at the sngpg weigh off but ill go out on a limb and predict a top ten gpc average over 1,000 lbs

possibly a top five site average

and, if the boys from ohio and pa come down as ive been told our top ten average may go well over 1100 and could be the top site

Watch out for Dueck. They've had good weather!

Note that New Hampshire & Rhode Island are both suspiciously quiet.

Two growers in NH lost over the weekend 1200+ pumpkins.

Dueck would be good. I'll be at that weigh-off. And, to win all I have to do is find a laser powerul enough to poke pinholes in all fruit over 200 pounds.

Bill, 1200+ pumpkins are not the smallest ones, they should be found! ;-) lol
