Hi,
What is the least amount of days a pumpkin needs to grow and have mature seeds?

My 684 that split was at 48 days. Less than half of the seeds were mature. Brig is probably right on the money.

I brought a 30 day old cull to work this summer. After all the oohs & ahhs one of my guys was afraid it might get stolen & he brought it inside the warehouse. My first day back from vacation I found it stinking the place up. While shoveling guts into the river I found at least a half dozen germinated seeds growing in the slop.

You may be able to count some of the days after removing from vine, but before removing seeds. . .I think they may mature a little just off the energy of the fruit.

Like Gary, I also believe that seeds continue to develope inside a sound fruit even after it has been removed from the vine. I can't prove it though.

I have harvested seed from several fruit that were a month old and germinated just fine. Better odds though at 50 days plus.
