I don't think Larry Checkon needs to be bombarded at this moment with requests for seeds etc. Cut him a break. He has a good sized pumpkin and he is trying to make sure it stays healthy and gets on the scale. After that would be the time to send him E-mails etc. Not now.

MN Pumpkin Grower don't take all of this too seriously. After all, we are all just people trying to grow bigger pumpkins. When you do get through to Larry, I am certain he will send you whatever he has. Every year he sends out loads of seeds. I can remember when Jerry grew Moonie, a new world record at 1131 pounds. The Checkons received literally hundreds of requests for seed. Think about how they felt when the pumpkin was opened and there were no seeds inside.

The only people who got 1131 J.Checkon Seed were the one's who bought them through eBay. I thought that great. I don't see the sellers around any more.
