By their own admission the 268lb watermelon was soft and not the record. They had a 262.6 or 262.8 also...shouldn't that be the record?

What does the 5.88 for rhubarb stand for? Is it the weight of one stalk? Length? With or without leaves?

Sorry, I may have asked this before. But, I don't think anybody got around to answering.

I am curious because my mom's rhubarb plant could probably do pretty well with some pampering. The only problem is that it takes up a bunch of room in the pumpkin patch!

I believe the Rhubarb is just the stalk with the leaf trimmed off.

Over ripe sounds very similar to rotten.
We'll soon find out in a week or two if Guiness accept it.

I would urge anyone who thinks they have a potential world record in their patch to do their best to get it to a public weigh off.
