My largest pumpkin just developed a blossom end split. Can I seal it with something, to keep the pumpkin intact. If so, what should I use? I was hoping to display it in the front yard, until Halloween. Do you think this will be possible?

Yes...you can plug the opening with silicone. It will minimize the invasion of fungus.

Thanks Stan. It's now plugged with silicone.
