Here is a nice way to give something back to our communitity with no cost of effort. I'm sure we can help these folks. The fruit will be returned so Halloween plans would remain intact.

The Glastonbury Exchange Club is looking for a large pumpkin for our fundraising booth at the Apple Fest. We do not wish to purchase the pumpkin but rather we usually borrow one (usually about 500 lbs.) to use at this event. We have a man with a truck who would pick it up and return it after the conclusion of the Apple Fest.

The date of our event is October 15 and 16, but we would have to pick it up on October 14.

I would appreciate hearing back from you soon. I know this was a bad year for pumpkins, but we are remaining hopeful! Thanks for your consideration.
