While pulling up my lane after getting a truck to load one of my pumpkins for a local raffle, my goats were out of their pen for some reason. When they saw me they ran right up to the pumpkin that was all ready on the pallet to be loaded. I yelled at them to get away. All four must be deaf cause they simultainiously looked at me like I was stupid and started to chomp down on it. I was ticked! So my next smallest went to the raffle and now I have to figure how to carve this one for a display with the bite marks included. Some were deep, some wide and some really long. Oh well.

My goats won't touch a pumpkin...I hear horror stories about goats that eat everything. Mine prefer bedding hay vs good hay. They will debark logs like a beaver. But will let fresh vegetables and grass clipping rot.

Goat Kabobs would be better with Pumpkin Pie Dave...I think you would need to serve this with a cold beer instead of a red wine.

Best goat I ever knew was the one we took with us hiking in Nepal.. After a week our protein needs were unmet, the goat disappeared and suddenly we were eating meat again. The only time I ever liked liver.
