I had a question regarding what people choose to put over their pumpkins. I like to push every bit of extra orange color that I can, so I covered my pumpkins with an orange tarp this year. It made sense orange pumpkin orange tarp, right?
Now I am rethinking this idea. If I want an orange pumpkin, orange color absorbs blue light so should I cover them with a blue tarp for more orange color?
I know that genetics plays a major role in this also, but I am looking to push the orange color already present. Just wanted to see if anyone has noticed any differences. Feel free to comment about your own methods, and ideas.
Thanks
