I know there's still a couple of weigh-offs left, but I haven't heard of pumpkins from Eaton, Handy, Hester, Mombert, Hebb, Kuhn... and others - anyone know what happened this year?
I'm working on my 2005 hitter rankings like I did last year. This year, I've switched it up a little, and will use the average of the best 5 fruit grown in the last 6 years...

My largest was a 1010.5. The 1028 split. Kept the streak alive, but only by 10 pounds. Too close for comfort. The Pumpkinguru

No pumpkins from Mr. Hebb this year, he took a year off.

Hey, Brett, 1010.5 gets you 1000+ for five years ina row, does it not? I don't think anyone else can say that, as far as my records show.

Yep, the last of the others fell off this year. I am the sole survivor, but like I said, only by the slimmest of margins. Next year I need a big one.

Kirk Mombert told me that he would not grow this year. We in the Northwest sure hopes that he returns next year.
