I was wondering on how to make compost?? I have a ton of leaves that fell from the trees during the storm. Do i just put them in a pile and let them sit or do i do something else? Any info would be very helpful.

If the leaves are dry you will have plenty of carbon and will have to add a nitorgen source. Manure,and Fresh lawn clippings are good sources. Then mix well if the propsrtions are right the pile will start heating up with in a few hours. Every few days turn your pile until things cool down. Some times it is necessary to add more manures and grass clippings.
