Has anyone seen th enew movie Wallace and Grommet's Invasion of the Were Rabbit?

I just took my daughter and 5 friends to the movies on her 8th birthday and was amused to see the movie is based on Giant Vegetable growers and the problems of invading rabbits. It was very entertaining to see a whole town dedicated to nursing their prize fruits to maturity for the local festival. Thier nurturing included electric blankets on giant squash, alarm systems, and patrols of the patches at night... sound familiar?

Anyway - just wanted to share that our passion has not gone unnoticed by the makers of Shrek!

If you going to talk about movie at least get the title correct.
The title is "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit."

Well the guy who created and makes Wallace and Grommet doesn't have anything to do with Shrek, it's just that Dreamworks is distributing it...

Wallace and Grommet was created by the guy who also did Chicken Run....

Wallace and Gromet were his original creations and have been around for a long time in England.

Sad news though, the warehouse where ALL of the Walace and Grommet props, characters and sets from the beginning of their creation (they have been around in England for several years), was destroyed in a big fire last week. Everything apparently was lost.

They said they woke up to find that the movie was #1 at the box office, and just minutes later found out that they lost everything, talk about an emotional rollercoaster, sheesh.

I saw this movie last night. I don't know if my wife found the movie THAT amusing or if she was laughing at things that I also do with my pumpkins the characters in the movie do.... Like tucking their melons and giving them a loving pat at night ;0) . It's a must see movie for giant vegetable growers with kids. 4 Stars!
