Mike was the one that told me over last winter about mixing Talstar and Merit for spraying. We growers in Nebraska called it the "Mike Frantz Method". In doing my product research for the spring, I came across a new insecticide called Allectus. The folks who make Talstar(FMC) and the folks who make Merit (Bayer) got together and must have decided that Mike was on to something. They jointly created Allectus, which contains both bifenthrin (chemical in TalstarOne) and imidacloprid (chemical in Merit), and both market it under their own brands. You can bet that as soon as I can get my hands on some, we'll be carrying it at PumpkinSupply.com
Way to go Mike!

Bayer & FMC combined these 2 choice chemicals for only one reason....the patents are expired. No matter...Allectus rocks.

The liquid formulation should be available at PumpkinSupply.com in time for the '06 season.
