Then, grabbin' a life-vest and a paddle- wasted no time gettin' aquainted with her~

Bill had the motorized powerplant a'goin as soon as i hopped in! and~ whoA!!! ( i had to paddle her around fer awhiles to get comfortable with her enough to try her engine out!

She proved so seaworthy- i quickly (-well... it seems quicker when yer actually in her...heh! heh!) paddled out of the Huge CoAstAL BAy... <cove> and Ventured out into the River...

Spying the RAGing-WHite-Waters... <tidal-river-reversing-quick-current-flow> underneath the Bridge joining Newcastle and Damarissscotta...

I hollered over to the fellas in the rescue-boAt- "HeyY-!- if'n i go down thru that ->
can you give me a tow bacK"?... "Sure!!! they sAy's...Go fer iT"!!! ( at least,.. thats what i think i heard them say...!? heh~heh!...)

((AnywAys!...By the time the on-lookers ...(probably in shock? disbelief? amazement?..ie: whAts thAt durn pAtch-Gnome doin' now!?) ...got to the bridge to watch... I was 1/2 mile "up-river-down-stream"!!! whoo-H00! whAt a ride!
