I was wondering what the best method of cloning pumpkins would be. In my case I want to over winter plants in my basment and I was wondering what the easiest way would be. Is potting the plant at each leaf node the best way or is it better to construct a cloning bed. How do you construct a clonig bed? And one last question. If you wanted to split one plant into two clones of that plant how would you do that?

splitting one plant into two.... since pumpkins roots at every node, I would think you can just do serpentine layering or tip layering. You bury each node, and once roots are formed, you can cut a rooted section off of the mother plant. It's pretty basic.
