My son and I grew a 409lb pumpkin from seeds from Howard Dill this year. It was our first year and we grew two plants that we crossed with controlled pollination. When we ordered the seeds the package said from a 500-700lb AG pumpkin and the other one said from a 700 to 900lb AG pumpkin. My question is when we go to mark our seed packets, how do we indicate the genetics? Is this how it should read? 409 Sprinsock (500-700 Dill X 700-900 Dill) ? Thanks for the help!

Just the way you have it, if no other history. The family tree will start with dill, and you will be the last so far. It's just my opinion, and ok with me. 409 Sprinsock 05 sounds good, and respectable. GROW'EM BIG, Rog. But strech the tree farther!!!
