ENGLAND

The new, allbeit unoficial, UK Record Pumpkin now stands at 1048 Lbs. This is the first Pumpkin ever to reach and exceed the magical 1000 Lbs barrier in the UK. Big Congratulations to Alun for taking us into the realms of the 1000 Lb'er. Alun's 1048 was grown on the Wallace 1068, just another 20 Lbs and she would have been momas weight.

im very proud to see these results from one of our seed stocks and more so because it was alun that did it

alaska record from the 500 , now the uk record from our 1068, plus many 1,100 and up this year around the country ?
thanks goes out to all the growers that have given these seeds a run, and to those seed stalkers that have been holding one of these in their bank - get on it next year

many of you have received our 919 from 2004 ( 1068 x 500 )1048 from 04 (500x1068) and the 961 from 2003 same cross as 1068 but used a different female and male pollinator
you may want to give these a run also

we had a real beauty early this season on the 1048 and 919 but could not hold on
in fact the 919 was so big early on i just knew it was to good to be true

again, way to go alun
