I heard that besides the Orange Jacket Award that will go to Larry CHeckon this year at the Niagara Seminar that a few Orange Crying Towels will also be distributed to a some of the losers and that they will be chosen right here on BP.com. Anyone care to make a nomination for "Loser of the Year?" The towels are apparently meant to both give solace and a bit of stimulation to the recipients. These are not meant to be punitive in any way. Any nominations? WHo was the grower who was complaining about having to hold someone's trophy? Maybe he should be the first nominee?

Yeah, ME!!!!! LOL Broke PB twice!! 38 days est. 272...stem split due to rookie mistake of improper vine support. That was July 28, growing on 906 Tanner, pollinated by 981 Zunino. Could have been huge. 28 day old fruit...est 211#...more rookie mistakes and Ka-Boom split wide open and I mean WIDE...that was Aug 6, growing on 1075 Daletas, pollinated by 981 Zunino. Would have been HUGE!!! Towel earned but not necessary, I'll be back!!!! Peace Wayne

Sounds like you are the first candidate for an Orange Crying Towel. Your name will definitely be submitted.
