Anybody know anything about grape hulls as a soil additive? Lots of wineries around here, and they have pulp as a by product. Can this be a way to add OM to the soil, or might there be other issues? Thanks!

DALE -HAVE been useing them here for over 30 years --compost them a year or two the ph is a nice 6.3 if you put them on fresh you will get grape seeds sprouts all over the place ph is also 5.5 because of the acid in the grape juice -- they will heat to 160.f fresh dumped--i mix some of mine with manure----craig
