I paddled my 396# pkn (dubbed "Pegasus") across Long Pond in Rutland, Massachusetts on Sunday morning. I told the local papers I did it to "promote the sport of Giant Pumpkin Growing". Evidently it's working, the AP picked up on it and my photo appeared in the South African "Cape Times" online newspaper and a Turkish online newspaper, check out these 2 links:
