It's the Soldier, not the reporter who has given us the freedom of the press.
It's the Soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech.
It's the Soldier, not the politicians that ensures our right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.
It's the Soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag.

Just got the first letter back from our "adopted" soldier in Iraq that we sent "stuff" to. She was so grateful for something as simple as insoles for her boots to make them fit. I am so grateful for her service in the name of freedom. And hey, she's over there fighting for someone elses freedom! May God Bless her and keep her safe.

Please check out my photo gallery under JimB. My son is home on leave from the US Army and was able to see my carving. He leaves for Iraq in 3 weeks, please prey for him.
