My freind grew a 700+ pumpkin off it that was nice and red orange.

I asked the sake question to Al Eaton a few weeks ago and this was his response:
There were 75 AGs in Canada over 850 pounds. Of these there were 31 mothers from 2004. Of these there were 4--753 Eaton 04 and 2--1446 Eaton 02 mothers. All the other mothers were singles,ie.no repeats. The 4 x 753s averaged 967 pounds (929.5 to 1025). Not all are on aggc yet,but should be soon. So in one sense the 753 did quite well,in another I didn't see where any US growers produced anything from it and that is where an AG must be grown to hit the big time.
