I was wondering if there any AGs out there that love heat or have adapted to higher heat areas?

Alec,

This discussion has come up. Do a search on it and you will get some good seed ideas.

When you need more info, I have lots of links for you on heat tolerance.

We had a lot of really hot days last year. The only plant that wasn't effected by the heat was the 1420 LaRue. Anyone else grow the 1420 and have the same results? Just curious.

Grew a 269 Reiss(810Dill+1016Daletas) last season that was very heat tolerant.

689.5 Kolb 05'. It went over 11% heavy in 95F+ heat. We had 23 days over 100 F from July 23rd thru Aug 13th. Plant was a 611.5 Hester 99' X self. Only half of this plant was grown under shade cloth. It did receive misting over the entire plant (it was only around 220 sqft). HotPumkin, We chatted about hot weather growing.. E mail Me.

My 440 George did very well here in southern california without misters or shade cloth. It handled temps in the mid 90's with no wilting whatsoever. 440 = 950 Boyton X 736 Garrell.
