I am looking for a gift for my father in law, who I got started growing giant pumpkins. I would like to get him a video with some helpful tips on growing AG's, but also just a fun video to watch with lots of big pumpkins in it. Need it for Christmas. Any good sugestions?

Give Joel Holland a holler. We plan on carrying his video at PumpkinSupply.com, but won't have it in time for Christmas. He sent me this info:

Our 2005 DVD will be available in Dec. Although pricing is not set at this time, they should be similar to the 04. In Dec. I will also have a "Holland's Land O' Giants Highlight Video" which covers the biggest events from 1988 thru 2004.

if he's just getting started, he won't NEED
the Highlights video or VHS, just get him the
'05 video on DVD or VHS and also i highly recommend
one of the EARLIER editions of the Holland's Land O' Giants
video, in particular the 1997 one, which should be
purchased AT THE SAME TIME as you order the '05, for
a reduced price. i THINK it is $28 for the '05, plus you'd get some seeds from his '05 fruits, and it is ABOUUUUUT
12 dollars for the second VHS or DVD, the '97 edition, as it has a lot on there about seed-starting, soil prep and
the "basics" that flung ME into this great spobby----eric g
