They might be fun to try, but not for $10 plus $2 shipping. The seed could be fine. Pumpkinnook has a story of seeds from 1957 that germinated all right.

Seed Packets, in that good, of condition ,with seed, would be more, of a collector's item than a grower's item.

Was/is it just me, or does that picture on the seed pack, just not look like what the "Jack-'OLantern" variety looks like these days. That's a good looking pumpkin on the seed pack. BF
