A normal RWT is only about 12-20lbs. We had one close to 50lbs. Fruit was solid.

rwt x ag...is just the first step if you really want to accomplish something. The next steps are years of cross-backs to build the weight back up. This and an ample amount of luck, BF

I had one that went around 50 lbs also. It had great red orange color. I had a few smaller ones also.

I'd be interested in some seeds! Email me if you have some spares.... I've got some seeds from a 150lb 'giant crooknecked squash' or a 50lb Round Orange Warty (made a good jack o' lantern!) I'll trade....

When you say "150lb giant crookneck squash" do you mean an oddshaped AG or a really big crookneck?

Not sure which! It came from a batch of 845 Nesbitt's - unsure if a strange seed got in the mix...
At first it looked just like a crookednecked squash growing on a GP vine... but it just kept growing! Long and skinny, then it started to fill out a bit. Had to harvest a tad early due to rotting on the underside. It was Hollow (like a GP) but the tissue wasn't stringy (nice and solid like a yellow squash).. I'm not sure if it was a hybrid or not..
I'm growing it again in 2006! Might cross it on an actual yellow squash female..

If it came from a Atlantic Giant it is an Atlantic Giant. Just because a person looks like a bulldog they are not a bulldog. For someone who is a science teacher you are very non scientific.

Coincedental or not...my mom today came up with a gallon ziploc bag full of giant crook neck squash seeds that she found that she has had for 7 or 8 years...all from one fruit...I would guess...1K seeds or more. She says she got them from one of my grampa's buddies...approximates size at 3' plus top to bottom. Want some....????? Peace, Wayne ps I got plenty LOL
