Some catalogs are stating another crop failure in 2005. One catalog showing inventory is: Reimer Seeds. They show 350 varieties. Take a peek at Giant Belgium Tomato and Box Car Willie, for two large good eaters.

Hi Doc, Just so you know there has been much talk at another message board regarding Reimer and Big Zac. Many have said that Reimer is one of the worst companies for sending wrong or accidently crossed varieties. Big Zac that they offer is said to be saved from the original Big Zac, so it isn't the true Big Zac. I don't know personally as I have never bought seeds from them, but I know in tomato circles they aren't very trusted. There is also a British company that offers them and they claim they are open pollinated! LOL Just a heads up.

I have used and trusted Reimer seeds for the last 2 years, I have had great luck with their seeds. Their Big Zacs are very equal to others I have grow. Plants, fruit etc are very much quality. Also if I understand it right. Totally Tomatoe has the distribution rights to Big Zac seeds, and if this is the case, I'm sure they would sell the real thing. just my 2 cents

Totally Tomatoes may have come up with some seed for Big Zac after all. They apparently have a limited amount. It is not listed in their catalog. You have to call them and specifically ask for the seed. Check it out.

Peter, No unfortunately not they pulled out last year I think, I asked them if they would send to the UK and they referred me to Thompson and Morgan (who don't sell Big Zac). Mark
